The Restaurant Milonas was opened in 1985 by our parents. They previously owned a mill and they were farmers – thus the name “Milonas = mill owner” was inevitable.

From those days of producing our own food, not much has changed. We still keep our concept of producing our own products and using them for the preparation of the food we offer in our restaurant. The vegetables, fruits and meat mostly arise from our own production.

The dishes we offer are prepared according to traditional recipes and as originally common in Crete, we invite you into our kitchen to have a look and choose, what you feel like, from the daily freshly cooked different dishes. Of course you can also choose something directly from our menu. We offer a wide selection of appetizers, salads, vegetarian dishes, fish and meat dishes.

Our beverage selection will also meet your requirements as you can find the right wine for each dish. If you wish, accompany your meal by a dessert and in any case by a glass of raki, which is also produced from us in the winter season. Read more...
